Warba Bank Launches SiDi Easy Finance for Domestic Workers

3 mins read

Warba Bank has launched SiDi Easy Finance, a digital financing solution designed specifically for domestic workers under Article 20 in Kuwait. The service offers financing in three tiers: KD 100, KD 200, or KD 300, with flexible repayment periods between 3 and 9 months. This initiative aims to improve financial inclusion for low-income residents who often lack access to banking services. Previously, Warba Bank introduced the SiDi account, which provides integrated solutions including account opening and low-fee remittances. Therefore, SiDi Easy Finance builds on a proven platform to support financial empowerment.

Mr. Hamad Mohammad Ashkanani, Senior Director of Business Excellence at Warba Bank, explained that the service is more than a financial product. “SiDi Easy Finance reflects our vision ‘Let’s Own Tomorrow.’ It enables a fair and inclusive financial system for all residents,” he said. In addition, the financing is Sharia-compliant and requires no commitments from sponsors. As a result, clients gain full independence while sponsors can monitor salary transfers and access free banking services via the SiDi app.

The service provides a seamless and fully digital experience. Clients can submit applications, receive approval, and obtain financing entirely online. First, they open a free, secure account through the SiDi app. Then, clients activate their digital signature at PACI self-service kiosks, available at PACI headquarters, major malls, main markets, and the dedicated SiDi branch. This approach ensures both security and ease of use. Moreover, all steps are handled digitally, so sponsors do not need to intervene.

Mr. Ashkanani added, “We redefine banking experiences by investing in smart digital solutions. Our goal is to give clients control over their financial transactions while ensuring ease and security.” Additionally, the service follows strict regulatory and Sharia-compliant frameworks. Consequently, clients can trust the safety and legitimacy of all transactions. It also meets top standards for cybersecurity and complies with local and international banking regulations.

With the launch of SiDi Easy Finance, Warba Bank strengthens its position as a market leader. Indeed, it is the first and only bank in Kuwait to provide specialized financing for domestic workers. This initiative demonstrates the Bank’s commitment to innovation, financial inclusion, and social responsibility. Furthermore, Warba Bank continues to roll out pioneering programs that combine technology with social values, contributing to a sustainable and inclusive financial future.

In a short time, Warba Bank has become a pioneer in Islamic digital banking. It is also among the banks with the largest number of shareholders. Consequently, the Bank has reinforced its reputation as a trusted financial partner.
